A few weeks ago we had a trade fair with our class. I searched and searched my house for items to bring in, but since I don't save anything I had to go to the store and buy a few items. One of the items Nia has here in this picture is of the Halloween scarecrow decoration. I walked away at the end of class with two red velvet cupcakes Nia brought in and some cookies.

This trade fair was based on how people traded items between each other long ago when money was not always available.
